WWE Legend Ric Flair Reportedly In A Medically Induced Coma

It sounds like "Nature Boy" Ric Flair is in serious condition.

After initial reports that the WWE legend had checked into a hospital for "routine monitoring," the former World Champion has reportedly been put into intensive care for "heart-related issues" (via Pro Wrestling Sheet). According to TMZ, Flair has been put into a medically induced coma in preparation for surgery, but that hasn't been confirmed. Another unconfirmed report claims that Flair is battling alcoholic cardiomyopathy, a heart disease caused by excessive alcohol abuse.

Flair, 68, spent most of his wrestling career playing a villain, but he's regarded as one of the all-time greats.

His management tweeted the following:

While we wait for more details about Flair's condition, his fellow wrestlers and fans have turned to Twitter to offer their support.
