New Game Of Thrones Photos Tease What's Beyond The Wall
Something wicked this way comes.
HBO has just unveiled a bundle of new photos for Game of Thrones season 7, episode 6, and the snaps look incredible.
Rumored to be titled "Death is the Enemy," the upcoming episode is actually called "Beyond the Wall"—which is fitting, considering that Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), Ser Sandor Glegane/the Hound (Rory McCann), Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer), Thoros of Myr (Paul Kaye), and Gendry Baratheon (Joe Dempsie) are marching right into the White Walkers' den in hopes of catching a Wight and bringing it to King's Landing.
The pictures preview Jon's so-called suicide squad's mission in the great North, sequences of which were shot in frigid Iceland. They also tease what's happening in Winterfell with the now-at-odds Stark siblings, how Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clare) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) are planning the wannabe queen's next move, and the ways in which Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) is upping her role in the burgeoning war.
HBO's release of these new photos comes shortly after the network confirmed that "Beyond the Wall" had leaked online. In a statement, HBO explained, "We have learned that the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones was accidentally posted for a brief time on the HBO Nordic and HBO España platforms. The error appears to have originated with a third party vendor and the episode was removed as soon as it was recognized. This is not connected to the recent cyber incident at HBO in the U.S."
This season of Game of Thrones has been struck with multiple past issues, the majority of which include content stolen by an unidentified hacking group and accidental leaks such as the one aforementioned.
While HBO attempts to gather its forces to prevent the next Thrones episode, which is the season seven finale, from making its way into the wrong hands and then onto the internet before its official release, check out the untold truth of the well-loved series.
