Game Of Thrones Characters Sing Taylor Swift's New Single In Mash-Up Video
It's official: Taylor Swift's new single is a hit in Westeros.
There's a hilarious new mash-up video making the rounds, and it features characters from Game of Thrones "performing" Swift's polarizing "Look What You Made Me Do." It comes courtesy of YouTube user Matthijs Vlot, and it should serve as proof that just about anyone can sing the song, the lead single from Swift's upcoming sixth album, Reputation. Add it to your list of go-to karaoke songs.
But this isn't the first time the song has been connected to Game of Thrones. As Entertainment Weekly pointed out, you could make the argument that Swift wrote the song from the perspective of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). Lines like "I've got a list of names and yours is in red underlined" sure sound like something Arya would say.
It's also not the first time the characters have been featured in a mash-up video. They previously took on Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" and Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby."
Videos like this will have to hold us over for a while. There's a chance the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones might not arrive until 2019.
