Taran Killam joining Kevin Hart in his trip to Night School. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has been cast as one of the leads in the upcoming comedy, which also stars Girls Trip breakout Tiffany Haddish.

The movie follows a group of misfits who have to attend adult night classes to try and pass their GED exam. Killam is set to play the school's principal, Stewart, who has some pretty strict rules for his charges. The actor has had a busy run since he left SNL in 2016, appearing as King George in the smash hit Hamilton and popping up in shows and films like All Nighter, New Girl, and Nature Cat. His upcoming roles include his directorial debut, the Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy Killing Gunther, which is due out in October.

Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip) is set to direct Night School, while Hart will produce alongside Will Packer (Straight Outta Compton). James Lopez (Girls Trip) will executive produce. The movie is based on a story by Hart and has a script from Hart, Harry Ratchford (Kevin Hart: What Now?), Joey Wells (Kevin Hart: Laugh At My Pain), Matt Kellard (The Real Husbands of Hollywood), and Nick Stoller (Get Him to the Greek).

The movie also features Insecure's Yvonne Orji. The film is aiming for an end of September production start date, with a release date set for Sept. 28, 2018. While we wait, see some of the other movies you have to look forward to that year.
