Deadpool's Brianna Hildebrand Stars In Tragedy Girls Trailer

We wonder if Deadpool would think Tragedy Girls is as cool of a name as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Gunpowder & Sky released a trailer for the upcoming movie starring Deadpool's Brianna Hildebrand and X-Men: Apocalypse co-star Alexandra Shipp as the titular teenage psychopaths. It's a lot like Heathers, but with a thoroughly millenial twist.

Directed by Tyler MacIntyre and produced by Craig Robinson (This Is the End, The Office), who also appears in the flick, Tragedy Girls centers on best friends Sadie and McKayla, who want to increase their social media standing as amateur crime reporters on the trail of a local serial killer. But once they capture the killer and hold him hostage, they realize the best way to get the scoop on future victims is to start murdering people themselves.

Before Hildebrand played the brooding Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool, she appeared on the web series Annie Undocumented. She was also added to the cast of the Fox series The Exorcist for season 2.

Shipp starred in the Lifetime movie Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B and portrayed Ice Cube's wife in Straight Outta Compton. She played Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse and will be back in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Tragedy Girls arrives in theaters Oct. 20. Take a look at more movies we can't wait to see this fall.
