Isle Of Dogs Trailer Reveals Wes Anderson's New Animated Flick

How far would you go to get back your dog? What if your dog had the voice of Edward Norton or Bryan Cranston?

At long last, Fox Searchlight released the first trailer for Isle of Dogs, the stop-motion animated flick from Wes Anderson (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums), and it reveals the adorable plot along with the all-star cast.

Inspired by the Rankin-Bass stop-motion Christmas specials from the 60's and 70's, the movie centers on a trash island that becomes an exile for dogs after an epidemic of "dog flu" plagues a city in Japan. A young boy travels to the island in search of his dog, where he meets a ragtag group of canines voiced by Norton, Cranston, Bill Murray, and Jeff Goldblum. The voice cast also features Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Greta Gerwig, Courtney B. Vance, Frances McDormand, Liev Schrieber, Kunichi Nomura, Bob Balaban, Yoko Ono, and more.

It marks Anderson's return to the medium after his Oscar-nominated 2009 effort Fantastic Mr. Fox. Despite what the poster below says, look for Isle of Dogs to hit theaters on March 23, 2018.

Meanwhile, check out a few actors who always appear in each other's movies.
