Watch The Trippy Trailer For Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams

If you know anything about author Philip K. Dick, you know we're in for a wild, futuristic ride.

Amazon revealed a trailer for Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams, the upcoming anthology series based on the works of the legendary sci-fi writer who wrote the story that inspired Blade Runner. Each of the 10 episodes are standalone stories and each feature star-studded casts.

Episodes will feature Bryan Cranston (who also executive produces), Terrence Howard, Anna Paquin, Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Richard Madden, Vera Farmiga, Janelle Monáe, Juno Temple, Liam Cunningham, and Mireille Enos.

The show is already playing weekly in the U.K., but it will arrive on Amazon sometime next year.

Isa Dick Hackett, daughter of the author and an executive producer, said at New York Comic Con that the anthology format is perfect for her father's short stories, allowing for diversity among the writers, directors, and cast. Showrunner Michael Dinner agreed, describing the show as a "series of 10 movies" linked by a common theme.

We'll let you know when Amazon announces a premiere date.
