Watch The Teaser For The Rest Of The Walking Dead Season 8
Still reeling from last night's incredible The Walking Dead season 8 premiere? AMC is ready to send you into a tizzy once again with an epic (albeit short) preview for the rest of the season, teasing just how far things will go in the show's All Out War.
"We have come this far," Ezekiel (Khary Payton) tells the group after a few quick shots of them preparing for battle are shown. "Our first victory will allow our second. Our second will deliver our third, and we will lose not one of our ranks." Although Ezekiel appears to be pretty confident, Carol (Melissa McBride) seems worried that there could be a traitor in their midst, saying, "If he tells them we're here, it's over before it started."
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) also seems to be dealing with problems of his own in the teaser, specifically concerning his ongoing war with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Although the teaser doesn't do anything more to explain the multiple timelines introduced in the premiere, it does promise the fact that things will not slow down this season in the war between the two powerhouses. "We need to win it all," Negan ominously says at the end.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple says that the next three episodes will be "unbelievably intense" and "unrelenting." "These next three episodes were just one thing after the other after the other. It is very, very intense," he told Entertainment Weekly. "It moves very, very quickly. When I was with the mixers, we definitely were hurting our ears quite a bit just with the pounding music, and the intensity, and the walkers, and the gunfire, and the yelling. The next three episodes might be the most intense string of episodes we've had."
Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Seth Gilliam, Austin Amelio, Tom Payne, Xander Berkeley, Steven Ogg, Katelyn Nacon, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Ross Marquand also star in The Walking Dead season 8. The show airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
