Marvel Finally Unveils Every MCU Phase 5 Movie And Disney+ Show

The penultimate night of San Diego Comic-Con 2022 brought a host of big announcements about future projects. Marvel Studios laid out the release schedules for the remainder of the Marvel Comic Universe Phase 4 films and television shows and all those planned for Phase 5. As to be expected with such an ambitious slate, some projects were given concrete release dates while others are, for the moment, simply scheduled for a particular month or season.

Phase 5 kicks off with "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania," which is scheduled for a February 17, 2023 release. Ant-Man franchise veterans Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas will be joined by newcomer Bill Murray in a yet-unnamed role. "Secret Invasion" will hit Disney+ sometime next spring, with "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3" hitting theaters on May 5.

"Echo," which will star Alaqua Cox in the title role and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and "Loki" Season 2 will both appear on Disney+ next summer, and "The Marvels" was given a concrete-for-now July 26 release date.

Phase 5 of The Marvel Comic Universe will run into spring of 2024

Five more projects will complete the MCU's Phase 5. A reboot of the 1998 classic "Blade" starring Mahershala Ali and Delroy Lindo and directed by Bassam Tariq — a project that was initially announced at Comic-Con 2019 — hits theaters on November 23. "Ironheart," which stars Dominique Thorn as teenage genius Riri Williams and features Manny Montana and Anthony Ramos in yet-unnamed roles, was timed for a fall release. The "WandaVision" spinoff featuring Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) was given a new name, "Agatha: Coven of Chaos," and a winter 2023/2024 premiere date. The series was initially titled "Agatha: House of Harkness."

One of the most joyfully received announcements of Comic-Con so far was Marvel's revelation that "Daredevil: Born Again" will hit Disney+ sometime in the spring of 2024. The original "Daredevil" series ran on Netflix from 2015-2018 and starred Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D'Onofrio as villain Wilson Fisk, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. Phase 5 concludes with "Captain America: New World Order." The fourth installment in the series will star Anthony Mackie in the title role and hits theaters on May 3, 2024.
