Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer Tease Has A Cute Baby Raptor

Apparently, not all velociraptors are born bad. In fact, they can be downright adorable.

The first official trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is expected to premiere tonight (Dec. 7) during Thursday Night Football, but Universal has been teasing it with 15-second snippets. The latest clip features Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) playing with his raptor pal Blue when she was a baby. We previously saw a brief version of this in another teaser.

Of course, we know from 2015's Jurassic World that Blue is a little more intelligent and cunning than most raptors, which helped her become the leader of the pack. She also doesn't stay cuddly for long. She eventually becomes a volatile killing machine, albeit one that's still capable of showing loyalty.

Here's the synopsis for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom: "Directed by J.A. Boyona (The Impossible), the sequel–set several years after 2015's billion-dollar smash Jurassic World–concerns a volcano on Isla Nublar that threatens the dinosaurs that had overrun the park at the end of the previous film. Who has the best shot at preventing the prehistoric beasts from become extinct (again)? That would be Chris Pratt's dino trainer Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard's former park manager Claire Dearing."

Jeff Goldblum is also back as Dr. Ian Malcolm, which can't be a bad thing. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom rumbles into theaters June 22, 2018.
