Experience
Amy has been a committed writer for 10 years, covering anything from short stories to film analysis. She has published articles in print and online for The Courier, her student newspaper. Here, she also worked as an editor for the TV section and was then promoted to a supervisor role as Head of Culture. During her time at The Courier, she won section of the year for her dedication to creating an inclusive array of articles each week. Amy has also been published in The Doe with a series of personal essays. She has now began work at Static Media to hone her combined passion for writing and everything film, TV, and culture to work on engaging features for Looper. She works day to day in an independent cinema.
Education
Amy studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Newcastle University. Once completed, she also did her master's in Creative Writing. This gave her the tools to be a dedicated writer, with self-discipline and dedication to her craft.
