Collin has loved writing ever since he discovered that he had a skill for it in elementary school, and he decided to pursue it as a career when he was ready to go to college. While at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Collin took an internship at Johnstown Magazine, and he has continued to write articles for the magazine in the years since. Since May 2021, Collin has been working as a copywriter at Static Media. He also continues to write about movies (and bad Christmas specials) on his personal blog.

Collin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in writing.
