Désirée Guzzetta

Désirée has been working as a writer since the 1990s and has been a freelance blogger, contributing writer, staff writer, and editor for several print and online publications. She once had her own site, Two Lazy Critics. She is incredibly passionate about writing about movies, music, and television, as well as comics, Godzilla, and Shark Week. Her credits include several cover stories for Estylo Magazine, where she also served as the Music Editor, as well as contributing to ROCKGRL, a magazine dedicated to women musicians that's now part of the Smithsonian's collections. She loves talking to people and has interviewed Mark Mothersbaugh, Michelle Rodriguez, Clive Barker, and all of Los Lobos, among others. In her spare time, she writes poetry.

Désirée has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Whittier College and a Master's in English from California State University, Fullerton, where she also had an emphasis in Creative Writing. Her master's thesis included an unpublished novel and a book of poetry, several of which were published post-graduation.
