Maxine is a writer, editor, and on-air commentator. She has a background in news, current affairs, politics, travel, music and criminology. Maxine worked for the UK's largest indie-rock station, Virgin Radio, before leaving London in 2000 and moving to LA. She worked her way up through the news, pop, and web world before slamming the door on full-time stress and old boys' networks. Instead, she moved to the developing world to learn, freelance, paint, work on various projects and make really weird stuff.
