Experience
Myles Hughes has been covering the film industry online since 2008, joining the staff of The Awards Circuit while he was still in high school. In the years since, he has been writing for sites like Awards Radar and 25 Years Later (as well as sister sites like Film Obsessive and Horror Obsessive). He is also a co-host of the Awards Radar Podcast, where he discusses the latest in cinema and the awards season. In addition to writing about movies, he has also made quite a few movies of his own, with credits on dozens of shorts and documentary projects. One of his most recent, the horror-comedy "American Exorcist" (which he wrote and directed), was the winner of 13 awards at the 2020 LOL Jax Film Festival, including Best Film.
Education
Myles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago, where he studied all elements of the filmmaking process, as well as criticism and analysis.
