Thomas has been a media professional since 2016, having contributed as a writer and editor for numerous media organizations and non-profit newsrooms. As part of his entertainment coverage, Thomas has covered film premieres and produced interviews with entertainers like songwriter Darden Smith and Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey. As a graduate student, Thomas also led AP style workshops at West Texas A&M University in 2021 for students enrolled in media courses. Thomas joined Static Media as a freelance editor in 2022. When he isn't working, you can find Thomas looking for iconic filming locations from his favorite movies and TV shows filmed in Texas and New Mexico. His favorite visits have been to the "Better Call Saul" nail salon in Albuquerque and the crossroads from "Cast Away" in Mobeetie, Texas.

Education

Thomas earned his bachelor's degree with double majors in public administration and public relations/advertising from West Texas A&M University in 2021. Thomas is currently attending Eastern New Mexico University and expects to complete his master's degree in communications in May 2023.
