Zach Laws' career in entertainment journalism began in 2012, when he went to work as an Associate Editor for Gold Derby. For a decade, he covered the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, and other entertainment awards, calling upon his extensive knowledge of film and awards history to make predictions about today's contenders. During that time he interviewed numerous filmmakers and celebrities, and from 2020 to 2021 he also worked as Gold Derby's social media manager.
Education
Zach Laws has a bachelor's degree in filmmaking from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking.
