Anthony Mackie was on hand at the 2022 Grammy Awards as a presenter, and confirmed that "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" has officially wrapped filming. In a red carpet interview, Mackie denied he will appear in the film, but suggested that he spent time on the film's set.
Mackie's confirmation seems to indicate that the MCU will make its return to Wakanda as scheduled on November 11, 2022. However, it is a bit curious that he is the first MCU actor to confirm details about the "Wakanda Forever" production process.
Mackie is not listed as a cast member, so it's possible he just spent time on set while awaiting development of the upcoming "Captain America 4." However, considering the storyline between Sam and the Wakandans in "Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” could Sam be returning to the screen sooner than audiences anticipated?
