This over-the-top comedy now available on Netflix and Paramount+, is a must-see for any Will Farrell fan. Set in the ‘70s at a local San Diego TV station, "Anchorman" follows the hilarious antics of popular news personality Ron Burgundy.
Anchorman
Despite being one of the best coming-of-age comedies from the 2010s, it's also criminally underrated. Available on Netflix, this film perfectly encapsulates the anxieties of being a social outcast and how hard it is to find someone to relate to, particularly when you're a teenager.
The Edge of Seventeen
Nearly three decades since Bill Preston and Ted Logan saved the future from evil robots, everyone's favorite time-traveling best friends are back for a new adventure, now as middle-aged dudes and fathers to daughters, who are almost identical to them. Now streaming on Amazon Prime.
Bill and Ted Face the Music
Olivia Wilde's directorial debut is a coming-of-age comedy about two overachievers who decide to go to their first-ever party the night before they graduate. The film, now streaming on Hulu, wonderfully represents the story of the modern generation told through its smart, hilarious, and thoughtful storytelling as well as its stylish visuals.
Booksmart
Available on HBO Max this underrated comedy follows four strangers who pretend to be a normal American suburban family in order to smuggle marijuana across the border. Jason Sudekis and Jennifer Aniston both deliver stellar comedic performances while backed by a stunningly talented supporting cast including the likes of Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn.
