Comparing AHS:
NYC To Another
Ryan Murphy
Hit Show

Those that are familiar with Ryan Murphy's catalog can almost instinctively pick out his work, whether it is from the camera angles, music selection, dialogue choices, or even the same actors. So it isn’t surprising that fans are already comparing "American Horror Story: NYC" to one of Murphy’s other projects.
Some denizens of Twitter have compared "American Horror Story: NYC" to Murphy's recent endeavor of "Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story." And even though “Dahmer” and “AHS” alum Evan Peters has not yet been confirmed to be appearing in “NYC,” this hasn't stopped fans from stating that they are already getting some serious "Dahmer" vibes.
However, not all were drawing positive comparisons, with one user stating, "#AHS so this feels like they just recycled Dahmer, and added more shirtless, sweaty dudes and S&M." Considering that "Dahmer" still popular on Netflix, the comparisons make sense, although there seems to be some debate as to whether or not that is a good or bad thing.
