“Harrow's” producers at ABC have yet to confirm a fourth season of their hit medical drama, but there's no reason to believe the series won't continue for more episodes, either, barring an announcement of its cancellation. Since the total turnaround time between Seasons 2 and 3 was 19 months, Season 4 could premier as soon as early 2022.
If “Harrow” is renewed for a fourth season, then Ioan Gruffudd is sure to return as Dr. Daniel Harrow. The same would presumably be true for the entirety of Season 3’s cast, including Ella Newton as Fern, Darren Gilshenan as Lyle Fairley, Jolene Anderson as Dr. Grace Molineux, and Damien Garvey as Senior Sergeant Bryan Nichols.
Structurally, “Harrow's” drama is generally episodic, with ongoing seasonal story arcs taking place amidst its individual episodic plotlines. Since the story arc concerning Dr. Harrow's relationship with James was wrapped up as of the conclusion of Season 3, Season 4 is most likely to introduce an entirely new source of drama into the lives of Dr. Harrow and company.
