How The Big Bang
Theory Cast Felt
About Kaley
Cuoco At First

When the series first kicked off in 2007, the most well-known cast member from “The Big Bang Theory” was Kaley Cuoco, who played Penny. Thanks to her starring role in the teen sitcom “8 Simple Rules,” Cuoco had been typecast as the girl-next-door, a part she later replicated in "The Big Bang Theory” — and a designation Cuoco considers a blessing rather than a curse.
Before the final season of “The Big Bang Theory” aired, Entertainment Weekly asked the cast what their initial impressions of one another were. Johnny Galeki described Cuoco as the “coolest person in the cast,” noting that she always left the set quickly after rehearsals or live audience tapings, adding, “We all assumed she had much better social plans than we did.”
Part of the reason for the success of “The Big Bang Theory” is the chemistry of the cast, and Cuoco revealed to Metro that the central "Big Bang Theory" players still keep in touch. “The texts are always happening," Cuoco shared. In fact, Mayim Bialik (who played Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler on the show) and Cuoco remain friends in real life.
