It goes without saying that "Elvis" isn't the most feel-good film of the year so far, but it was well received by viewers, as evidenced by its 94% fresh audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. If you missed the movie in theaters, you’ll have the ability to watch it at home in the very near future.
Potential viewers will be pleased to learn that “Elvis” will become available on PVOD platforms Tuesday, August 9th. The Warner Bros. Discovery release will cost $19.99 to rent for 48 hours and $24.99 to purchase.
Unfortunately, "Elvis" will not be available to stream on HBO Max on the same date amidst a period of transition for the streamer. However, director Baz Luhrmann believes that the film will be available on HBO Max in the fall, though the studio has yet to confirm his statement.
