History's "Ice Road Truckers" is a fascinating look into the challenges of hauling heavy cargo on the dangerous and unforgiving ice roads of the north. Lisa Kelly, who started her career doing all sorts of driving and motorcycling jobs, became a well-known reality TV star after appearing on five seasons of "Ice Road Truckers."
After her departure from the show, Kelly revealed in a 2021 interview with Overdrive's YouTube Channel that she still keeps in touch with some of her co-stars, including Todd Dewey, who appeared in the same seasons of the show as she did. She also occasionally meets with Jack Jessee and Phil Krom, saying, "I talk to Todd sometimes, and I run into Jack and Phil on the road."
"I think Todd's still doing the same thing he was doing — not on the show, but he's always been a logger. And then Jack and Phil are still at Carlisle," Kelly said, shedding some light on the whereabouts of her fellow "Ice Road Truckers" veterans. While the profession is obviously demanding, it's nice to hear that some veterans still keep in touch.
