Kevin Hart And
Woody Harrelson
Apologize For Their
Mistake In The Man
From Toronto
By JASON CONNOLLY
Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson collaborated for the first time in Netflix’s “The Man From Toronto,” and both have since had nothing but good things to say about working together. However, Harrelson and Hart recently came together to apologize for a pretty glaring mistake they made in the film.
As many viewers were quick to point out, despite the fact that the city’s name is in the movie’s title, both Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson actually mispronounce "Toronto" throughout the entire film. They pronounce the name "Toe-RON-Toe" — with extra emphasis on the second "T" — which is not how anybody from the actual city pronounces the name.
Both actors pronounce the name "Toe-RON-Toe" — with extra emphasis on the second "T" — which is not how anybody from the actual city of Toronto pronounces the name. As pointed out by BlogTO, the correct pronunciation is much closer to "Toronno," with the use of a hard "T" in the last syllable a "dead giveaway" that someone doesn't actually live in the city.
