My Dress-Up
Darling's Author
Had A Strong
Reaction After The
First Episodes
By MIKE WORBY
The anime series "My Dress-Up Darling" has achieved massive success on the back of its first season. While fans have been head over heels for the adaptation of "My Dress-Up Darling," Shinichi Fukuda, who wrote and illustrated the manga series, has also had an intense reaction of their own.
Fukuda confessed that they rewatched the first two episodes over and over again and couldn't be happier with the quality of the series. "I received the first and second episodes of the complete packet of the anime and watched them. Everything was so good that I cried with emotion," Fukuda said.
Since adaptations aren't always this well-received by their creators, the team behind "My Dress-Up Darling" is obviously doing something right. As if the news that Fukuda cried with joy wasn't enough, the fact that they spent a staggering 13 hours watching what amounts to roughly 45 minutes of anime is about as enthusiastic a response as one could hope for.
