A representative for "Pawn Stars" mainstay Rick Harrison confirmed to TMZ on Friday night, January 19, 2024, that Adam Harrison died of a drug overdose at only 39 years old.

At the time of writing, it isn't clear where the middle son was at the time of his passing, what substance he allegedly overdosed on, or when exactly he was found dead.

"Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam," the Harrison family said in a statement issued to the outlet. "We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss."

Rick Harrison took to Instagram shortly after the news of Adam's death broke, offering a short yet touching tribute to the second of his three sons.

"You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam," he wrote, adding a broken heart emoji at the end of the post, which features a photo of them enjoying some time at a bar.
