Raymond "Red" Reddington of "The Blacklist" has an actual identity that remains a mystery on the program. Of course, plenty of fans think they've figured out what Red's real identity might be, and one theory has been mentioned so frequently that even the series' showrunner has spoken about it.
The results of a poll posted to the subreddit by u/LizIsRedsMother indicate that fans think Red was once Katarina Rostova, Liz's biological mother. Other fans disagree with the notion, pointing out the high amount of time Red would have required to recover from surgeries.
Jon Bokenkamp, the show’s creator and co-producer, avoided confirming or denying the notion of “Redarina” being canon. Since it's always been impossible to know whether Red is lying or telling the truth, it may take a long time for fans to discover that truth.
