What We
Know So Far

Director Gavin O'Connor announced that two sequels to “The Accountant” are in the works but did make any mention of a script. Chances are that means the films are in early pre-production, so it could be a while before fans of the first film get to see the sequel on the big screen.
One thing we know for sure about "The Accountant 2" is some of its cast members, O'Connor confirmed that Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal would be back to reprise their roles as the Wolff brothers. The jury is still out on whether other stars from the original film, including Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, are expected to return.
Regarding the plans for the next two films, O'Connor said, "I've always wanted to do three because what, the second one's going to [...] integrate his brother into the story. [...] And then the third movie's going to be, I call it, 'Rain Man on steroids.' [...] The third one is going be a buddy picture."
