The Beth Scene That Went Too Far On Yellowstone

By KIM BELL

Season 4 of Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" is underway, and fans are lighting up Reddit with theories about where the Duttons will land, following Season 3’s violent attack. There has also been a lot of speculation about one of the show’s most volatile characters, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly).

While Beth had a dark side in the first three seasons, she balanced it with being a savvy businesswoman and loyal daughter, but many now think she has crossed over into being a cartoonish caricature. Fans agree that the true jump-the-shark moment was when Beth pulled a knife on a woman her father, John, had just hooked up with.

As if this wasn’t enough, she followed the scene by sitting at a desk with her feet up and smoking like a Bond villain. That said, a few fans believe the changes in her character are deliberate, and she is being set up to betray John.
