When looking back at the history of "Saturday Night Live," a handful of skits and characters stand out as the most memorable, but there are more than a few concepts that people have grown to despise. One such example comes from a few recent editions of "Weekend Update,” and some fans wish this character would completely disappear.
On December 14, 2019, “SNL” cast member Kyle Mooney appeared on "Weekend Update" as Grogu, aka Baby Yoda. Not only did the makeup job border on nightmare fuel, but the jokes he told were far from the show's best, yet he made another four appearances on the program.
Reddit users opened up a thread and commented about Mooney's take on Grogu, referring to it as one of the worst "SNL" characters. "Saturday Night Live" has hosted countless characters that didn't land, but it stands to reason that Mooney's Grogu will go down as one of the most infamous.
