With roles in iconic series such as “Jurassic Park,” “Star Wars,” and the MCU, it’s no surprise that Samuel L. Jackson has become a Hollywood staple and been able to constantly expand his prolific résumé. Throughout his career, Jackson has accrued over 150 cinematic credits, but which movie has the honor of being his favorite?
For Jackson, picking his favorite movie is hardly even a contest, seeing as he's gone on record multiple times to call the 1996 crime drama "The Long Kiss Goodnight" his unrivaled favorite flick. "I love that movie, man. I had such a good time with Geena Davis," he said in a 2019 interview.
Directed by Renny Harlin and written by Shane Black, "The Long Kiss Goodnight" centers on Samantha Caine (Davis), an amnesiac who is struggling to regain her memories. She enlists Jackson’s character, Detective Mitch Henessey, to help her do just that, and together they unravel a plot previously unknown to them.
