The Tragic Year
That Changed
SSSniperWolf
Forever
By CODY D. CAMPBELL
Sure, you might see a bumper sticker slamming 2020 and automatically know that the pandemic made that year much harder on everyone. However, for YouTuber Alia Marie "Lia" Shelesh, aka SSSniperWolf, 2020 was not anywhere near as bad as the horrendous year she had in 2016.
Lia even released a video on her channel detailing the year, where she said the earliest and most difficult thing to happen was finding her dog, Tuna, covered in "thick globs of spit" with a small cut on her neck. She brought her dog to the vet, who said she was likely attacked by a coyote, and after multiple surgeries, the 11-month-old dog had to be put to sleep.
She then explained that she was depressed for a long time, and in the midst of that depression, she was hit by a drunk driver in her brand-new car. According to SSSniperWolf, the driver was going around 50-60mph, because he was drunk and had fallen asleep with his foot on the gas.
Lia also got robbed in 2016 while she was in the midst of moving and only found out after she returned from a week-long San Diego Comic-Con trip. In the video, she said, "They stole absolutely everything that we had packed up ... all the furniture, all the kitchen utensils, supplies, appliances – everything."
