The Walking Dead's Seth Gilliam Played Four Different Law & Order Characters
By JENNIFER MASHUGA
Season 5, Episode 2 ("Strangers") of "The Walking Dead" introduced us to Gabriel Stokes, played by Seth Gilliam, a cowardly priest that had to toughen up to become an asset to the rest of the survivors. Although he has become a fixture in “The Walking Dead,” some viewers may recognize him from his four characters on “Law & Order.”
One of Seth Gilliam's first onscreen roles was a "Law & Order" appearance in Season 3, Episode 10 ("Consultation"), playing the husband of a drug mule. In 2005, he played A.D.A. Terence Wright in four episodes of the short-lived "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," where he worked alongside the show's stars interviewing victims and witnesses.
In Seasons 7 and 8 of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," he guest-starred in four episodes as Detective Daniels from the city's club enforcement task force. In 2010, Gilliam returned to "Law & Order" in Season 20, Episode 21 ("Immortal"), where he played the attorney to Michael Reed (Doug E. Doug), who is charged with the murder of his cousin.
