On the show “1883,” Isabel May plays the fan-favorite central protagonist Elsa Dutton. Viewers fell in love with Elsa’s headstrong attitude and overwhelming love for life, and in many ways, she served as the emotional center of the entire series.
Before “1883”, May played Veronica Duncan on “Young Sheldon.” Veronica played a previously reckless teenager, whom Mary Cooper converts into a devout Christian, and the recurring love interest of Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie Cooper.
Veronica eventually lived with the Coopers in an attempt to flee her abusive stepfather, and during this time, it appeared that she and Georgie might end up together. That, however, never came to pass, and while she didn’t appear in the fourth season, it is speculated that she may end up returning to become Georgie's first wife, as we know that he marries at age 19.
