Temporary Exit
For “Storage Wars,” Brandi made the giant leap from being a full-time mom and part-time worker to slogging for 60 hours a week. She made several sacrifices, including missing out on some of her children's most important milestones, which likely factored into her decision to temporarily exit the show.
Brandi's Relationship
Brandi and her partner Jarrod Schulz experienced the downside of spending every waking moment in each other's presence as a consequence of starring in “Storage Wars.” Brandi explained, "Working together as a couple every day is quite an obstacle to overcome.” She further revealed that they were often at each other's throats.
The Spin-Off Show
"Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job," was a spin-off show that followed the duo’s journey as thrift store owners, partners, and parents. Unfortunately, the show failed to garner the same attention that its parent series did and eventually stopped airing after a measly eight episodes.
Brandi and Jarrod
Brandi officially announced her split from Jarrod in 2020, despite having broken up with him two years earlier. Some eagle-eyed fans weren’t surprised by the announcement since they had spotted the absence of Jarrod from Brandi’s plentiful Instagram posts back in 2018, making the split seem pretty obvious.
The Separate Wars
Even after the split, Brandi and Jarrod continued being a part of “Storage Wars” as individuals. Bringing in more drama than before, the pair's estranged off-screen relationship translated into some heated on-screen moments, including bidding wars and stand-offs even if it was at the expense of Brandi's peace of mind.
