In a new Goldfish Mega Bites commercial, two similar-looking actors are sitting next to each other on the set of a movie. The actor on the left describes the crackers as “technically a reboot” of a “childhood icon,” to which his companion replies, “We’re childhood icons. Will they reboot us?” right before the two are replaced with muscular lookalikes.

Viewers who know or remember 90’s film and television will recognize these two actors as Fred and Ben Savage, brothers and iconic TV child stars. Fred Savage, the actor who spoke first in the commercial and the older of the two, is inextricably linked to his character Kevin Arnold from “The Wonder Years.”

Ben Savage is best known for his role as Cory Matthews on “Boy Meets World” which ran for seven seasons. As both brothers’ acting careers have been defined by these respective roles, their Goldfish Mega Bites commercial is a cheeky nod to their past when they were, in their own words, childhood icons.
