Adrianne Palicki portrayed Tyra Collete on “Friday Night Lights,” a troubled teen whose characterization fought back against the "beautiful dumb blonde" stereotype until she left to further her education. In 2019, she shared her undying affection for the role, saying, "[G]irls come up to me and say they're going to college because Tyra did."

Palicki was also part of the infamous remake of “Red Dawn” in 2012 where she portrayed Toni Walsh, a member of The Wolverines, and the love interest for Jed Eckhart. She admitted it was hard not to take the movie’s tanking personally but was grateful for the opportunity.

Palicki then took on the role of Jaye Burnett aka Lady Jaye, a covert operative for the G.I. Joes and a weapons specialist, which is a term that movies throw around with hilarious frequency. When describing her character to Impulse Gamer, she said, "you don't want to mess with her.”

Palicki portrayed Bobbi Morse, a dedicated agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who proves her loyalty when the villainous HYDRA team reveals itself within the aforementioned agency's core. In a 2021 interview, Palicki claimed, "Honestly, she was one of the best characters I've ever played in the fact that she's funny, she's tough.”

In Seth MacFarlane's “The Orville” Palicki is the First Officer and ex-wife of MacFarlane's Captain Ed Mercer, Commander Kelly Grayson. Although she is sometimes reckless with her actions she is a courageous character that fights for her crew.
